Rapidplay Matches for 2019
Scoring for rapidplay matches - Each match is played on 4 boards with players
playing each other twice, so the match can be thought of as 4 'mini-matches'. The winner of each mini-match (either by winning both games, or by one win and one
draw) earns 2
Board points for his/her team. If a mini-match is drawn (i.e. both games
drawn, or one win each) then each team scores one Board point.
The overall match result is decided by Board points.
However, the actual game scores, shown in brackets, may differ from the Board point scores. It is the game
scores that are used in the League Table 'Games For' and 'Games Against' columns.
